We sincerely believe that deep down our hearts each one of us here is a child. Remembering our childhood, we find that we were, full of love and joy, generous and open-hearted, hungry for new discoveries, impressions and always ready to play.

Time passes and adult life with all its rules and restrictions that are imposed on us, our environment makes our inner Child to retreat under the pressure of life circumstances. There are still games: studies, job, business, politics, wars and etc, but no more fun, no more joy and love to share. We still expect more impressions from what we do, but we keep getting them less and less. We get into daily chores and forget who we really are.  

The Child inside each of us becomes frustrated and disappointed. And since the whole world is a reflection of our beliefs about it, the reality itself around us takes shape far from being ideal, which we all dreamed of since childhood.

All our experience clearly shows that it is sufficient only to give to adults a chance once again to feel like a child, to fill themselves with pleasant experiences and allow them to express their feelings - excitement in anticipation of adventure, pleasure and joy of new achievements and learn new skills, and much more - as their hearts are filled again with the same enthusiasm and excitement that they often experienced in childhood, when life was just beginning.

And as a result they begin to share their feelings and impressions with their environment - family, friends, colleagues and just people around - with positive vibrations begin to spread beyond the place where they initially appeared, and they fill the world, changing it for the better, imbued with Love and Joy.

We are here to provide our Guests with all the necessary conditions for them to be filled with pleasant experiences and positive emotions, which will become part of our common life experience, and that we can share with our beloved people.

LOYK MARA CAMP as one of our base camps for LOYK HOTELS has a lot of different facilities to satisfy the demand of our Guests who value the sense of privacy and peace to make them fill comfortable in the heart of the wild nature.

At the same time we offer a large variety of activities for those who wish to learn more about themselves, test their strength, express themselves get new impressions and impress their friend.

Loyk Mara Luxury Camp is a Family Friendly Camp located in one of the most picturesque places on the bank of River Ntiakitiak on a 50 acres private land at the border of Olare Motorogi conservancy and Masai Mara National Reserve - the richest National Reserve of Kenya.

Settled down in the middle of the African bush, Loyk Mara Luxury Camp will give you a sensation of privacy and rest, granting a vivifying cool under the shade of sprawling crones of undersized trees within a hot day.

We provide all necessary facilities for your comfort staying with children from 2 years old and above.

We got baby friendly menu, baby chairs and baby cots upon your request.

Besides all other facilities we have 24 hours electricity in both public and private areas at the Camp powered by solar panel with the diesel generator on backup, hot and cold water showers, flushing toilets, intercoms, WiFi, DSTV and etc.

We also have everything you may need to relax yourself and entertain your kids.

Our naturalist will not only help you to discover more about wildlife while walking through the endless savannah with the Maasai Warriors and armed Ranger, but also will teach your children how to recognize and use different local plants and minerals, use the traditional Maasai bowl and spire, track the animals and much more.

Our small traditional Maasai Manyatta within the Camp is open for every Guest during day or night. Here you and your kids will learn more about Maasai cultures, beadwork and traditional Maasai housekeeping. You are always welcome to donate affordable funds to support local Maasai Community purchasing crafts you like from our giftshop.


At our Lounge and Reception we provide different table games, billiard and even open air cinema to watch movies or cartoons in the evening time.

And don't forget about the swimming pool - it's at your service through all seasons at Loyk!


HOW TO FIND US
You can reach LOYK MARA CAMP either by road or by air.
The distance from Nairobi to the camp is 280km. It usually takes around 5-6 hours by road.

Alternatively Guests can come by air using one of the numerous companies such like Airkenya, Safarilink, FlySax, Mombasa Air etc.

We use Olkiombo Airstrip to our fly-in clients. Its 20km from the airstrip and takes 30 minutes drive with game drives to the camp.  .
